Friday trip out Into countryside

Yesterday was a gorgeous day to take a bus trip out to Zaanse Schance-- a small village with a museum of windmills- many of them working ones. We toured one that was grinding pigments for paints. Also one that was grinding spices. Oh, what a wonderful sensory experience. The day was the most splendid one we have had in Amsterdam.
